Business leader and financial professional Mark Cruikshank draws on more than 20 years of experience in corporate governance, risk assessments, and technical finance in his role as chief financial officer of the Macquarie Group in New York City. As CFO, he leads a comprehensive financial transformation effort while expanding automation processes at the company. Responsible for a team of approximately 270 individuals at Macquarie, Mark Cruikshank handles financial management functions including tax, treasury, finance, and regulatory reporting.

Before serving as CFO, Mr. Cruikshank spent five years as senior managing director at Macquarie Infrastructure & Real Assets (MIRA), part of the asset management activities of the company. Since joining the firm as a manager in 2003, he has worked in its Sydney, London, and New York offices.

A graduate of the University of New South Wales, Mr. Cruikshank earned a bachelor of commerce in finance and accounting. A registered Chartered Accountant, Mark Cruikshank also holds a master of laws (LLM) in international taxation from the University of Sydney.
